National Grief Support Services has created a very special place for Virtual Rituals and Ceremonies, inspired by the words of Paul Alexander, a singer, songwriter and psychotherapist. Rituals are powerful, symbolic actions. They enable the bereaved to express grief in visible form and movement. Lighting a candle, planting a tree, releasing a balloon create moments of connection to our deceased loved ones. When joined with others in these meaningful events, we create opportunities for healing and unite a community of support.

Paul Alexander has generously shared his beautiful music to accompany our Virtual Ritual and Ceremony section. As you join others throughout the world to honor and remember those who were cherished, we hope the music brings comfort to the hurting places and reminds you of the richness of the love which is forever yours.

You will find each ceremony a unique interactive experience. We invite you and your family or friends to join you. You may participate in as many ceremonies as you like, for as many people as you desire. Click below to begin the ritual of your choice. You will be taken to a form where you indicate who you would like to honor or remember. Only then will you be able to hear the music and see the healing ceremony unfold before you. We welcome you to our community of remembrance.
